One Day Hands-On Training Program on Industrial Automation (Pneumatic & Electro Pneumatic System)

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a One Day Hands-On Training Program on “Industrial Automation (Pneumatic & Electro Pneumatic System)” on 3rd January 2026 (Saturday) for industry professionals. The objective of the training was to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices by providing participants with hands-on exposure to modern automation systems commonly used in manufacturing industries. The training session was conducted by Prof. Sagar Kanjiya from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Darshan University, Rajkot. The session covered the fundamentals, components, operation, and applications of pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems. Participants gained practical knowledge in system layout design, circuit operation, control valves, sensors, actuators, and troubleshooting of automation circuits, along with an emphasis on safety practices and real-time industrial applications.
