Frolic 2025: The Filmy Paglu

The Department of Humanities and Science (DIET) organized an event "The Filmy Paglu" as part of Frolic 2025. The competition aimed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork among students through an engaging blend of cinema, literature, and popular culture. The event featured three thoughtfully designed rounds—Thinkethon, Emotikuan, and Litreel Hunt—which tested participants’ general awareness, interpretative skills, imagination, and problem-solving abilities. A total of 104 students from Darshan University and several external institutions participated enthusiastically, creating a vibrant and intellectually stimulating atmosphere. The event concluded with the appreciation of winners and acknowledgment of the participants’ collaborative spirit and creativity, reinforcing the university’s commitment to holistic student development.
Who we are?
Darshan University - having the foundation of its first Institution laid in 2009, and later on, established and consolidated under Gujarat Private Universities (Second Amendment) Act of 2021. It is one of the leading institutes within Saurashtra that offers Diploma, UG, PG and Doctoral Courses.
