What is M.Sc. Microbiology?
M.Sc. Microbiology is a master level course. Duration of this course is 2-years long and its syllabus is divided into 4-semesters. It also gives practical & theoretical learning of the subjects to the candidates and covers the studies of micro-organisms & their effects on society. Microbiology is career presenting in nature and provides many job opportunities for the candidates after its successful completion. It is the discipline in which scientists combine life science with other advance sciences to investigate living systems and their advantages.

Candidate should have Bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3/4/5 pattern of education (B.Sc./B.Voc/B.E./B.Tech etc) in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Technology Sciences, Botany, Zoology, Life Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Agricultural, Veterinary, Fishery & Dairy Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS), BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B Tech/BE Biotechnology, Physiotherapy or Biomedical Engineering from a recognized university/institute with at least 40% marks as aggregate of all the semester / years.
