Frolic 2025: Stick Mania

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIETDS) successfully organized an event “Stick Mania” as part of Frolic 2025. Designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, this technical competition challenged participants to apply core principles of structural analysis, including load distribution, shear forces, and stability. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 28 students representing various institutions, who demonstrated remarkable creativity and engineering acumen by constructing intricate stick-based models. Through a rigorous testing process that evaluated strength and efficiency, the competition fostered an environment of innovation and collaborative learning. The team comprising Limbasiya Dhruvil, Loriya Parth, and Sankhavara Dharmil secured first position, displaying exemplary technical skill in their structural design. Ultimately, the event effectively underscored the department’s commitment to enhancing student expertise through experiential technical activities.
Who we are?
