Frolic 2025: CADxplore

  06 Sep 2025

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DIET & DIETDS) organized an event “CADxplore” as part of Frolic 2025, a prominent technical event designed to evaluate and enhance proficiency in Computer-Aided Design. The competition provided a platform for students to demonstrate technical accuracy and creativity in engineering drafting. The event featured three rigorous rounds, beginning with basic 2D sketching to assess fundamental tool knowledge, followed by a moderate industrial drawing session emphasizing technical standards. The final round challenged participants to create complex 3D industrial models, testing their visualization skills and design completeness. With participation from internal and external students, the event fostered a competitive spirit and encouraged the practical application of AutoCAD skills. Dhrangdhariya Om Sanjaybhai emerged as the top performer, exemplifying the high standard of engineering talent nurtured by the university.
