Frolic 2025: Accathon

The Darshan Institute of Management organized an event “Accathon” as part of Frolic 2025, a specialized Tally Prime competition designed to test and enhance students’ proficiency in financial management. The event focused on speed, accuracy, and conceptual clarity in computerized accounting, with participants engaging in multiple rounds that required processing business transaction data to generate essential financial statements and reports under timed conditions. This rigorous format assessed their decision-making skills and ability to handle real-time accounting scenarios. With participation from forty-five students representing various institutions, the competition highlighted the growing importance of digital accounting tools in the corporate sector. The team led by Dhruv Pipaliya and Parth Kagathara secured first place, demonstrating exceptional technical competence. The event effectively blended academic theory with the practical demands of modern financial analysis.
Who we are?
