Hands-on Training on "CO₂ Laser Cutting"

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DIET & DIETDS) organized a hands-on training program titled “Hands-on Training Program on CO₂ Laser Cutting & Engraving Machine” under the PRAYAS initiative to promote technology transfer and strengthen academia–industry linkage. The program was specifically designed for industrial professionals and aimed to provide technical expertise and skill development free of cost. Led by faculty experts, the training covered the working principles, design preparation, operational procedures, and safety aspects of laser cutting and engraving technologies. Participants received practical exposure to real-time machine operations and explored various industrial applications. The initiative reinforced the university’s commitment to community engagement, skill enhancement, and the dissemination of modern manufacturing technologies.
