Industrial Visit to Playway Systems Private Limited, Rajkot

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DIETDS), organized an industrial visit to Playway Systems Private Limited, Rajkot for first-year students to provide early exposure to the manufacturing sector. The visit focused on specialized production processes in the toy industry, offering students insight into product development from raw material processing to the assembly of safety-compliant products such as tricycles and strollers. During the visit, forty-five students observed quality control measures, design considerations, and safety protocols essential to manufacturing children’s products. The experience complemented classroom learning and encouraged students to explore innovation in mechanical engineering, reinforcing the university’s commitment to holistic technical education through industry engagement.
