Expert Talk on "Sales and Acting: A Parallel Journey"

The Darshan Institute of Management organized an expert talk titled "Sales and Acting: A Parallel Journey", featuring industry expert Mr. Jayprakash Joshi. The session was designed to provide BBA students with unique insights into the synergistic relationship between the performing arts and professional salesmanship. Mr. Joshi elucidated how foundational skills such as effective communication, emotional intelligence, and storytelling are critical to success in both domains, encouraging students to view client interactions as dynamic performances. Through engaging anecdotes, the talk highlighted the importance of body language and personal branding in building professional confidence. The interactive session successfully motivated students to adopt creative approaches to career development, reinforcing the value of adaptability and persuasion in the competitive corporate world.
