Industrial Visit to Adani Mundra Port & SEZ

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized an industrial visit to Adani Mundra Port & SEZ, Gujarat for B.Tech Civil Engineering students of the 5th and 7th semesters to provide exposure to large-scale port operations and marine infrastructure. Twenty-four students participated in the visit and observed key operational components such as advanced cargo handling systems, liquid cargo pipelines, and marine construction activities including dredging and piling. Interactions with port officials offered valuable insights into coastal engineering practices, logistics management, safety protocols, and environmental considerations. The visit effectively enhanced students’ technical understanding and professional awareness of global trade infrastructure and sustainable development practices.
