Workshop on "Application of Construction Chemicals"

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized a workshop on "Application of Construction Chemicals” to enhance students’ practical understanding of modern construction practices. The workshop offered hands-on exposure to the use of admixtures, waterproofing agents, surface coatings, and tile adhesives through live demonstrations by industry experts. Students actively applied construction chemicals on trial surfaces, gaining insights into correct application methods and solutions to common issues such as leakage and cracking. The initiative strengthened technical confidence and highlighted the role of construction chemicals in improving the durability and quality of infrastructure projects.
Who we are?
