Session on "Career Opportunities after Civil Engineering"

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized an expert session “Career Opportunities after Civil Engineering” to guide students on diverse professional pathways after graduation. The session was led by Prof. Maulik A. Joshi and Dr. Dipak Jivani, who provided valuable insights into career opportunities in government services, private industry, entrepreneurship, and higher education. Key discussions included preparation strategies for competitive examinations such as UPSC and GPSC, prospects in infrastructure and consultancy sectors, and the importance of skill development, certifications, and professional networking. The interactive session addressed students’ career-related queries and effectively supported them in aligning personal interests with industry requirements and future career goals.
