Visit to the Regional Science Centre, Rajkot

The Department of Humanities and Science (DIET) organized two educational field visits to the Regional Science Centre, Rajkot for first-year students as part of its experiential learning initiatives on 12 August 2025 and 13 August 2025. A total of 282 students participated in the visits, which aimed to complement classroom learning with hands-on scientific exposure. During the visits, students explored interactive galleries and exhibits related to chemistry, physics, biology, technology, and environmental sciences, and observed experimental procedures and live demonstrations in the Centre’s laboratories. Faculty-guided interactions and expert explanations encouraged inquiry-based learning and interdisciplinary thinking. Overall, the visits successfully bridged the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world scientific applications, enhancing students’ academic understanding, curiosity, and professional perspective.
