Seminar on "Personal Finance"

The Department of Humanities and Science (DIET) organized a seminar titled "Personal Finance". Facilitated by Prof. Dhaval Simejiya, the session was specifically designed for 157 first-semester B.Tech students to instill essential money-handling skills at the onset of their academic journey. The seminar provided a comprehensive overview of financial management fundamentals, including strategic planning, student-focused budgeting techniques, and the responsible use of banking services and credit. Through the use of real-life examples and interactive discourse, the event effectively underscored the critical importance of avoiding unnecessary debt while navigating modern banking systems. This initiative successfully empowered the participating engineering students with the requisite knowledge to make informed economic decisions, fostering a culture of financial responsibility and independence among the university’s youth.
Who we are?
