Awareness Session on "Narcotics Drug Awareness Campaign"

The Department of Humanities and Science (DIET) organized an awareness session on “Narcotics Drug Awareness” under the Nashamukta Bharat Abhiyan. The session featured Mr. Minu Jasdanwala and officers from the Rajkot Police SOG, led by PSI Shri Dhrangu. Aimed at first-year students, the program focused on creating awareness about the serious physical, psychological, and career-related consequences of substance abuse. Through real-life experiences and factual guidance, the speakers highlighted strategies to resist peer pressure and make responsible life choices. The session also informed students about preventive measures and available support systems. It concluded with a collective pledge by students to remain drug-free, reinforcing a campus culture of awareness, responsibility, and mutual support.
