Career Guidance Seminar for Civil Engineering Students

The Department of Humanities and Science (DIET) organized a seminar titled “Opportunities in Civil Engineering & Government Exam Guidance” for first-semester B.Tech Civil Engineering students as part of its student development initiatives. The session was delivered by Mr. Niraj Patel from NWRWS, Morbi, and provided insights into diverse career opportunities in civil engineering, including infrastructure, urban development, water resources, and environmental sectors. A key focus of the seminar was guidance on public sector employment, with detailed discussions on competitive examinations such as GATE, ESE/IES, and SSC JE. The resource person emphasized early preparation, strong conceptual understanding, and awareness of eligibility criteria and timelines. The session effectively motivated students to align their academic efforts with long-term career goals in government services and core engineering roles.
Who we are?
