Field Visit to Construction Site Near Ratanpar Village

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIETDS) organized a field visit to a construction site near Ratanpar Village for first-semester diploma students to bridge the gap between classroom theory and on-site practices. The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to the practical execution of basic construction activities. During the visit, 37 students observed key operations such as brick masonry, plastering, centering, and finishing works at the Ram Bungalows site. Students also learned essential skills related to site measurements and verification of drawings with actual execution, highlighting the importance of accuracy in construction. The visit enhanced students’ understanding of construction processes, material handling, and the practical application of fundamental civil engineering concepts.
