The Department of Civil Engineering (DIET) organized a “Mock Interview Drive” to enhance the employability of final-semester students. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between academic preparation and industry expectations by assessing students’ technical knowledge, aptitude, and communication skills. A panel comprising Prof. (Dr.) Dipak K. Jivani, Prof. (Dr.) Ujjval J. Solanki, and Prof. Chintan Raichura evaluated students on core civil engineering areas such as structural design fundamentals, site quality control, quantity estimation, and drawing interpretation. The structured simulation familiarized students with professional interview dynamics, enabling them to identify strengths and areas for improvement. The drive significantly enhanced students’ confidence and readiness for campus placement opportunities.
