Seminar on "IKS: Bridging Ancient Wisdom with Modern Education"

The Darshan Institute of Science organized an insightful seminar titled "Indian Knowledge Systems: Bridging Ancient Wisdom with Modern Education". Under the coordination of Dr. Priya C. Vithalani and featuring an expert session by Dr. Gaurang Vyas, the event was designed to sensitize B.Sc. Microbiology students to the enduring significance of India’s intellectual heritage. The seminar critically examined the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern pedagogy, specifically highlighting the relevance of traditional knowledge in the fields of science, health, environment, and ethics. Through this academic discourse, participants developed a deeper understanding of how indigenous systems can effectively complement contemporary scientific learning. Ultimately, the session succeeded in promoting holistic thinking and cultural appreciation, reinforcing the university's commitment to integrating historical wisdom with current societal practices.
Who we are?
