Industrial Visit to Hi-Bond Cement Plant

The Department of Civil Engineering (DIETDS) organized an industrial visit to the Hi-Bond Cement (I) Pvt. Ltd. plant near Patidad Village for fourth-semester students. The visit aimed to provide a clear understanding of the fully automated cement manufacturing process, from raw material handling to final packaging. Students observed major operational stages such as crushing, grinding, clinker production, and cooling, gaining practical insight into the application of theoretical concepts in large-scale industrial operations. Plant personnel explained quality control procedures, safety measures, and the role of automation in maintaining consistent product quality. The visit helped students bridge classroom learning with real-time industrial practices and enhanced their technical understanding of modern cement manufacturing in the civil engineering sector.
