Expert Lecture on "Professional Communication and Employability Skill"

The Department of Mechanical Engineering (DIETDS), in collaboration with the Department of Humanities and Science, organized an expert lecture on “Professional Communication and Employability Skills.” The session was delivered by Prof. Riya Unadkat and was specifically tailored for final-year diploma students to bridge the gap between academic preparation and corporate expectations. The primary objective was to enhance key competencies such as verbal and written communication, interview readiness, and professional etiquette required for effective workplace interaction. Students gained valuable insights into resume presentation and personal development, equipping them with essential tools for a smooth transition from campus to professional engineering roles. The active participation of 35 students highlighted the relevance of the session, which successfully oriented them toward the demands of the competitive industrial environment and supported their overall career growth.
