The Department of Civil Engineering, DIET organized an expert talk titled “Professional Communication” for fourth- and sixth-semester students as part of its student development initiatives. The session was delivered by Prof. Twinkle Raithatha, who provided valuable insights into effective communication practices in engineering and industrial contexts. The talk focused on enhancing clarity of expression, professional etiquette, and confidence in verbal and non-verbal communication. Interactive activities such as role plays, mock professional conversations, and listening exercises were incorporated to simulate real workplace situations, including client interactions and team collaboration.
