On January 10, 2026, the Mechanical Department of Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology for Diploma Studies (DIETDS) organized a comprehensive industrial visit to Dharti Agro Engineering in Shapar, Gujarat. Specifically tailored for fourth-semester students, this departmental initiative aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical mechanical concepts and their practical applications in the agricultural machinery sector. Throughout the engagement, a group of 46 students and two faculty coordinators gained valuable insights into innovative mechanized solutions designed to enhance farming efficiency. Participants observed the integration of advanced heat treatment technologies, automation, and rigorous quality control protocols within a professional manufacturing environment. Furthermore, the visit highlighted the critical role of a self-motivated workforce in maintaining consistent productivity.
