The Department of Civil Engineering, DIETDS, organized a visit to the university's ongoing auditorium construction project. The visit provided 36 sixth-semester Diploma students with an opportunity to observe real-time construction practices and reinforcement detailing. During the visit, students gained practical exposure to the construction of one-way and two-way slabs, beams, and columns, helping them connect theoretical concepts with field applications. They also interacted with site engineers and supervisors to understand construction sequencing, quality control measures, safety practices, and bar bending schedules. The visit enhanced students' technical knowledge and provided insights into professional construction processes. It also helped bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry practices.
