Session on “AWS Core Services – IAM, EC2, and S3”

The AWS Cloud Club of Darshan University, under the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (DIET–CSE), organized a workshop on “AWS Core Services – IAM, EC2, and S3” to strengthen students’ practical understanding of fundamental cloud computing technologies. The programme provided comprehensive insights into core Amazon Web Services, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), and Simple Storage Service (S3), with a strong emphasis on their real-world applications in modern cloud infrastructure. Participants gained valuable hands-on experience through live demonstrations, account setup, and guided practical exercises that enhanced their technical competencies. Interactive activities, including a cloud-based quiz competition with prizes for outstanding performers, further enriched the learning experience and encouraged active participation. The workshop attracted enthusiastic participation from students across Computer Science, Information Technology, and Computer Applications programmes, fostering collaborative learning, technical excellence, and greater awareness of industry-relevant cloud technologies while reinforcing the University’s commitment to experiential and skill-oriented education.
