INDUSTRIAL VISIT AT SUNBOND ENERGY PVT. LTD.

On February 26, 2026, the Department of Diploma Electrical Engineering at Darshan University organized a comprehensive industrial visit to Sunbond Energy Pvt. Ltd. in Mitana, Gujarat. This educational excursion provided 17 sixth-semester students with essential practical exposure to the manufacturing of high-efficiency photovoltaic modules utilizing MonoPERC and TOPCon cell technologies. Facilitated by faculty coordinators Mr. Harsh R. Dholariya and Mr. Omkar R. Nimavat, the visit allowed students to engage directly with industry professionals, including HR Manager Mr. Vijay Dabhi. Participants gained detailed technical insights into the end-to-end processes of solar panel manufacturing, from initial wiring to final commissioning and maintenance procedures. By bridging the gap between theoretical classroom concepts and real-time renewable energy applications, the program successfully enhanced student technical awareness and highlighted diverse career opportunities within the solar energy sector, ultimately fostering a stronger linkage between academia and industry.
