The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized its third "Industrial Shop Floor Learning Session" at Waterjet Polymers Pvt. Ltd. for fourth-semester B.Tech students under the MP-I course. The session was attended by eight students and coordinated by Mr. Mukeshkumar V. Vekariya. During the visit, students received hands-on exposure to plastic molding machinery and extrusion processes under the guidance of industry expert Mr. Jignesh Bhotraniya. They gained insights into modern manufacturing practices, quality control procedures, and industrial safety standards followed in the plastics industry. The session helped students understand the practical applications of concepts learned in the classroom and provided valuable exposure to real-world industrial operations. The activity strengthened the connection between academic learning and industry practices while enhancing students’ technical knowledge and professional awareness.
