The Department of Electrical Engineering, DIETDS, organized an expert lecture on “AutoCAD and 3D Modeling for Engineering Design” for fourth- and sixth-semester students. The session was conducted by Mr. Vimal Dhrangadharia, owner of Vishwakarma Academy, and was attended by 35 students. During the lecture, students gained practical insights into 2D drafting and 3D modeling techniques used in engineering design. The session covered the preparation of circuit layouts, panel designs, and schematic drawings in accordance with industry standards. Students also learned about the importance of drafting accuracy and proper technical documentation in engineering projects. The lecture helped enhance their technical skills and provided valuable exposure to professional practices in the fields of electrical design and consultancy.
