Industrial Visit to Angel Pipes – Plumbing Accessories Manufacturing Plant

On 09th February, 2026, the Civil Engineering Department of Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology (DIET) at Darshan University organized a comprehensive industrial visit to the Angel Pipes and Plumbing Accessories Manufacturing Plant in Lodhika, Gujarat. This initiative provided forty-eight students from Semesters 2 and 6 with valuable practical exposure to the manufacturing of plumbing products, including PVC pipes, fittings, and valves used in building construction. Throughout the visit, participants observed various production stages such as raw material mixing, extrusion, and moulding, while gaining insights into automated systems and quality control procedures. The experience allowed younger students to understand basic material roles while providing senior students with deeper technical knowledge regarding material selection and plumbing design. By bridging the gap between theoretical classroom learning and real-world industrial practices, the visit effectively enhanced the students' understanding of contemporary civil engineering infrastructure and manufacturing standards.
