An Industrial Visit to Angel Pipes and Plumbing Accessories Manufacturing Plant

  09 Feb 2026

The Department of Civil Engineering, DIET, organized an industrial visit to the Angel Pipes and Plumbing Accessories Manufacturing Plant for second- and sixth-semester students. The visit was attended by 48 students and aimed to provide practical exposure to the manufacturing of plumbing products used in the construction industry. During the visit, students observed the production of PVC pipes, fittings, and valves and learned about various manufacturing processes, including raw material mixing, extrusion, and moulding. They also gained insights into automated production systems and quality control procedures followed in the industry. The visit helped students understand the role of plumbing materials in building construction while enhancing their knowledge of material selection and modern manufacturing practices. The experience bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial applications, providing valuable exposure to industry standards in civil engineering.
