The Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology’s Civil Department successfully hosted a comprehensive "GATE & Competitive Exam Awareness Session" on January 21, 2026, at the university’s G-Block Seminar Hall. Organized as a departmental effort for employability, the expert lecture featured Ms. Shurbhi Jain from Acumen GATE Academy, who provided 42 participating students with vital insights into higher education and career pathways. The session meticulously covered the structure of the GATE examination, admission trends for prestigious institutions like IITs and NITs, and various recruitment opportunities within Public Sector Undertakings. Furthermore, students received guidance on navigating state and national-level government examinations, including GPSC and SSC. By detailing effective preparation strategies and selection procedures, this initiative empowered aspiring civil engineers to make informed decisions regarding their professional growth and academic excellence. This successful program reflects the university's commitment to mentoring students for long-term career success.
