Darshan University successfully hosted a competitive Pickleball tournament on February 20, 2026, as a featured highlight of the Sprint 2026 athletic celebrations. Organized by the SAC Sports & Fitness Wing at the university’s dedicated Pickleball Court, the two-day event aimed to promote physical fitness and introduce students to emerging recreational sports. A total of 82 participants from five internal institutes engaged in the competition, which followed a structured knockout format across boys' and girls' categories. The tournament provided a platform for individual skill development and identified talented athletes for future university representation. In the final standings, Zala Karmyagnsinh Narendrasinh and Bavarva Isha Dineshbhai, both from the Darshan Institute of Management, secured first-place honors in their respective categories. By fostering a healthy competitive environment and encouraging campus-wide sportsmanship, the Pickleball competition significantly enhanced the university's commitment to holistic student development and physical wellness.
