A Competition on "Programming Challenge 2026"

The Department of Computer Engineering, DIETDS, organized a regional-level competition, “Programming Challenge 2026,” for Diploma Engineering students. The competition attracted 81 participants from 10 institutions. The event aimed to enhance students' logical reasoning, programming skills, and problem-solving abilities through competitive coding. During the competition, participants solved programming problems based on fundamental concepts such as loops, arrays, and logical reasoning. Their performance was evaluated on the basis of accuracy, coding speed, and debugging efficiency. The event concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where Prince Prakashbhai Panara and Maharshi Bhaveshbhai Shukla from DU, along with Dhruv Kotak from LEC, Morbi, were recognized for their outstanding performance. The competition strengthened participants' technical knowledge, coding confidence, and problem-solving skills while reinforcing the university’s commitment to promoting technical excellence.
