AI for Beginners: From Theory to Tiny Project

On 28th February, 2026, the Diploma Computer Department of Darshan University hosted an insightful expert session titled "AI for Beginners: From Theory to Tiny Project" at Auditorium-5, Block-H. Organized by the DIETDS-CE Department and led by Prof. Naimish Vadodariya, the regional-level event provided a comprehensive introduction to Artificial Intelligence for 37 participants from various institutions, including Marwadi University and Government Polytechnic, Junagadh. The session aimed to demystify complex concepts such as algorithms and machine learning through clear, practical explanations. Beyond theoretical discussions, students engaged in a hands-on activity where they were guided to develop their own beginner-level AI mini-projects. This initiative successfully enhanced the participants' technical understanding while fostering a keen interest in modern digital technologies. The program concluded with a formal expression of gratitude to Prof. Vadodariya for his valuable expertise and for inspiring the next generation of engineering professionals.
