Seminar on Higher Studies: GATE Awareness and Career Counselling

On January 21, 2026, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Darshan University hosted an impactful seminar titled "Higher Studies: GATE Awareness and Career Counselling" in collaboration with Acumen GATE Academy. Held at Auditorium 4, the event was designed to enlighten over 310 students on the strategic importance of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) for academic and professional advancement. Led by expert mentor Nilesh More, the session provided a comprehensive overview of opportunities including M.Tech and Ph.D. admissions at premier institutions like IITs and NITs, alongside recruitment pathways into prestigious Public Sector Undertakings. Participants gained valuable insights into financial assistance programs and specialized core technical roles available to qualified candidates. The event concluded with an interactive forum that addressed student inquiries regarding preparation strategies, effectively reinforcing the university's commitment to enhancing student employability and long-term career success.
