A Seminar on "Higher Studies: GATE Awareness and Career Counselling"

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, DIET, organized a seminar on “Higher Studies: GATE Awareness and Career Counselling” in collaboration with Acumen GATE Academy. The session was attended by more than 310 students and aimed to create awareness about the opportunities available through the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The seminar was conducted by Mr. Nilesh More, who explained the importance of GATE for higher studies and career growth. Students gained insights into admission opportunities for M.Tech and Ph.D. programs at premier institutions such as Indian Institutes of Technology and National Institutes of Technology, along with career prospects in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The session also covered scholarship opportunities, financial assistance programs, and preparation strategies for the examination. An interactive question-and-answer session allowed students to clarify their doubts and gain a better understanding of future academic and career options.
