Bridging Academia and Industry: eInfochips Visit

On March 6, 2026, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Darshan University organized an institutional field visit to eInfochips in Ahmedabad, titled "Bridging Academia and Industry". Facilitated by faculty coordinators Prof. Jayesh D. Vagadiya and Prof. Samir Kariya, the excursion provided 33 students from the Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology and the Darshan Institute of Computer Application with vital real-world exposure to the IT sector. Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions led by industry experts, including Senior Executive Ms. Ami Doshi and DevOps Engineer Mr. Yaksh Rawal, who explored advanced technologies such as IoT frameworks, smart camera systems, and the critical role of DevOps in modern software development. Beyond technical demonstrations, the visit clarified industry recruitment expectations and placement processes, successfully bridging the gap between theoretical academic learning and professional practice while offering students valuable insights into emerging career opportunities within the global technology landscape.
