Career Guidance Session on Structured Roadmap to Placement Success

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (DIET–CSE), Darshan University, organized a Career Guidance Session on “Structured Roadmap to Placement Success” to equip students with the knowledge and strategies required to excel in campus recruitment and professional careers. The session was delivered by Mr. Jay Sanghani, Founder of Unique IT Solutions, Ahmedabad, and a distinguished alumnus of the department, who shared practical insights into industry expectations and effective placement preparation. Participants were guided on strengthening core technical knowledge, aptitude and problem-solving skills, real-world project development, emerging technologies, professional branding, LinkedIn profile optimization, GitHub portfolio development, and interview preparation techniques. The programme encouraged students to adopt a structured, disciplined, and goal-oriented approach toward career planning while enhancing their employability and industry readiness. Attended by 187 students from the Computer Science and related programmes, the session significantly contributed to preparing aspiring software professionals for successful career opportunities.
