The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized a “Final Year Project Exhibition 2026” for sixth-semester Diploma Mechanical Engineering students at the university’s Mechanical Workshop. The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their technical knowledge, creativity, and practical engineering skills through innovative project models. During the exhibition, students presented a variety of functional models demonstrating innovative mechanisms and engineering solutions. The projects were evaluated by senior university leadership, including the President, Provost, Controller of Examinations, and departmental heads, who interacted with participants and shared valuable feedback and encouragement. The exhibition helped students apply theoretical concepts to real-world engineering problems, enhance their presentation and technical skills, and develop innovation and teamwork.
