The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized a workshop on “From Theory to Flight: Hands-on Drone Assembly” for sixth-semester Diploma Mechanical Engineering students. The workshop aimed to strengthen students' understanding of drone technology through a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. During the workshop, students learned the fundamentals of drone systems, including their components, working principles, flight dynamics, and applications. The practical sessions enhanced students' technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and confidence in working with unmanned aerial systems. The workshop also raised awareness of career opportunities in drone technology and reinforced the department's commitment to industry-oriented, application-based engineering education.
