An Industrial Visit at Captain Tractors Pvt. Ltd.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized an industrial visit to Captain Tractors Pvt. Ltd. for fifth-semester Diploma Mechanical Engineering students as part of its Industry–Academia Linkage initiative. The visit was attended by 37 students along with faculty coordinators. During the visit, students observed key stages of tractor manufacturing, including machining, fabrication, welding, assembly, painting, quality inspection, and safety practices. They also gained insights into modern manufacturing techniques and the working of different production departments through interactions with industry experts. The visit helped students connect classroom learning with industrial practices and enhanced their understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and the professional manufacturing environment.
