An Industrial Visit to Ravi Metal Treatment

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized an industrial visit to Ravi Metal Treatment, Metoda, for third-semester students to provide practical exposure to manufacturing practices and metal heat treatment processes. The visit enabled 38 students, accompanied by faculty members, to observe heat treatment technologies, quality control, inspection, testing, and process monitoring in an industrial environment. Students also gained insights into automation, quality control systems, and the importance of technical skills and consistent quality in manufacturing. The visit helped connect classroom learning with real-world industrial applications while enhancing students’ industrial awareness and professional preparedness.
