An Online Expert Session on “Career Opportunities in the Industrial Sector after B.Sc. Microbiology”

The Darshan Institute of Science, DU, organized an online expert session titled “Career Opportunities in the Industrial Sector after B.Sc. Microbiology”. Dr. Surendra Gohil from the Research and Development Department at Intas Pharmaceuticals, Ahmedabad, delivered the session and guided undergraduate students about career opportunities in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Dr. Gohil discussed the role of microbiologists in the industrial sector and highlighted the importance of practical laboratory skills, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of industrial safety and compliance standards. The session helped students understand professional roles, industry expectations, and research opportunities while connecting their classroom learning with real-world applications.
