The Department of Civil Engineering, DIETDS, organized a construction site visit to Shree Darshan Prime, Rajkot, for third-semester students. The visit was attended by 37 students and aimed to provide practical exposure to residential construction activities. During the visit, students observed important structural and architectural elements such as reinforced concrete column reinforcement, brick masonry, plastering, damp-proof courses, scaffolding, and plumbing systems for water supply and drainage. They also carried out basic site measurements and unit conversion exercises under faculty supervision. The visit helped students understand construction sequences, machinery operations, and site management practices while connecting their classroom learning with real-world civil engineering applications.
