The Department of Civil Engineering at Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology for Diploma Studies organized an experiential construction site visit to Shree Darshan Prime in Rajkot for third-semester students. Designed to bridge academic theory with professional field application, the initiative provided thirty-seven diploma students with direct exposure to active residential construction processes. Participants systematically examined key structural and architectural elements, including reinforced concrete column reinforcement, brick masonry, plasterwork, damp-proof courses, scaffolding systems, and integrated plumbing networks for water supply and drainage. Additionally, students engaged in practical site measurement and unit conversion exercises under faculty supervision. By observing live construction sequences, machinery operations, and site management practices, the participating students significantly strengthened their technical comprehension, analytical observation skills, and practical insight into real-world civil engineering project execution.
