Industrial Visit to Jyoti CNC Automation Limited

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology for Diploma Studies (DIETDS), Darshan University, organized an industrial visit to Jyoti CNC Automation Limited, Metoda, Rajkot, for fifth-semester Diploma Mechanical Engineering students. The visit aimed to provide practical exposure to advanced CNC machine tools, manufacturing technologies, industrial automation, and modern production processes. A total of 40 students, accompanied by two staff members, participated in the visit. Students gained insights into the working principles and applications of CNC machines, machining processes, CAD/CAM technologies, production planning, and quality control systems used in modern manufacturing industries. The visit also highlighted the importance of skilled and technically trained professionals in achieving precision, productivity, efficient production, and consistent quality standards. By connecting classroom learning with real-world industrial applications, the initiative strengthened students’ technical understanding and industrial awareness, preparing them to better understand emerging technologies and professional practices in the mechanical engineering sector.
