An Industrial Visit to Dharti Agro Engineering

The Department of Mechanical Engineering, DIETDS, organized an industrial visit to Dharti Agro Engineering for first-semester students. The visit provided practical exposure to agricultural machinery, mechanized farming solutions, and manufacturing practices. 69 students, accompanied by two faculty members, participated in the visit and learned about heat treatment, automation, quality control, painting processes, and sheet metal operations. Industry professionals also highlighted the importance of technical training, practical experience, self-motivation, productivity, and quality in industrial settings. The visit helped students connect classroom concepts with real-world manufacturing processes and develop a better understanding of contemporary industrial practices.
