The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized industrial visits at Singhal Power Presses Pvt. Ltd. & DCM Bearings Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot for the students of B.E. 6th semester on 12th February 2022.
Singhal Power Presses Pvt. Ltd. has full-fledged state-of-the-art in-house manufacturing facilities and is equipped with highly accurate machinery. During the visit, students observed working of CNC Base Flame Plate Cutting Machine, Hydraulic Plate Straightening Machine, Shot Blasting Machine, Stress Relieving Vibrators, and types of equipment of Fabrication Shop & Machine Shop.
DCM Bearings Pvt. Ltd. has world-class capabilities in the forging shop with state-of-the-art lines of Power Presses ranging from 75T to 300T. Students observed working of fully automatic induction heating furnace, Bell Type Annealing furnaces with an Air circular system, Control panels, Double disc polishing machines, Abrasive cutting machines, and Induction hardening equipment.
