Industrial Visit at Amul Industries Pvt. Ltd.

Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an industrial visit at Amul Industries Pvt. Ltd., Unit-10., Rajkot for their students of B.E. 4th Semester on 25th March 2022.
Amul Industries Pvt. Ltd. is a leading global manufacturer of automotive components serving almost every major vehicle manufacturer worldwide. During the visit, students observed various processes used for manufacturing of connecting rods which included milling of the upper and lower end faces, drilling, boring, and grooving mainly. Students also learned about the inspection of connecting rods and also, observed the working of the Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
