The School of Computer Science (DU) had organized a One Day Workshop on “Git, GitHub, and Node JS Basics: Hands-On'' for the students of 6th-semester Computer Engineering students and 2nd-semester MCA students. Rakshit Menpara, Shailesh Davara - the founders of Improwised Technologies Pvt Ltd, and their team members conducted the workshop. Experts discussed modern software development and programming myths. The workshop was held with the intention to introduce the basics of Git and Github and demonstrate various functionalities of the interface. The students learned how to use Git, how to start a project, and how to perform commit and pull requests. The expert gave a basic introduction to Node JS. Mr. Rakhit explained the importance of server-side scripting language and its use in the technical world. The session was followed by installing Node JS and creating nodes as the project. The workshop included a live demonstration and hands-on practice, so participants could experience the proceedings in real-time. During the workshop, the team members answered participants' questions and clarified their doubts.
