The objective behind organizing Industrial Visit for 4th & 6th Semester Students was to give them the knowledge of BIS Standards in various departments of the Fire safety Valve manufacturing industry. like various Standards Formulation, Product Certification Scheme, Testing & inspection activity, etc.An industrial visit was organized for the students of the 4th & 6th Semester Students of diploma mechanical engineering department on 3rd February 2023. An industrial owner and their supporting technical staff from Essel Valves Pvt. Ltd. & BIS officer, Mr. Aman Sir have given the knowledge regarding fundamental principles of the Standards Recognition process & its importance to the students. Students have learned the basic technical skills required for the manufacturing of Fire Safety Valves via physical visits to the industry. They got knowledge of how to perform these manufacturing processes from industrial technical experts. It was a great learning experience for the students to get the knowledge about the various Standards Formulation, Product Certification Scheme, Testing & inspection activity, inspection, and testing methods, etc., and also got the experience of how to perform them.
