Three day Training program with “Futuristics Technologies (Robotics, Scanner, 3D Printing, ARVR and Refrigeration)” was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, Darshan University, Rajkot (Gujarat), during March and April, 2023. Final year diploma mechanical students of Darshan University have actively participated in this training program.Prof. Yash N Tank,  Prof. Ankur N. Tank and Prof. Sagar S. Kanjiya has delivered theory as well as practical sessions of 3D Printer, 3D Scanner, Robotics, CAD, ARVR and Refrigeration very well supported by Prof. Hardik H. Kava, Prof. Jinesh G. Tank & Prof. Paresh U. Bhuva during the training program. This training programme is designed to make one familiar with product manufacturing by additive methods used in rapid prototyping i.e. 3D Printer. Also this training programme will help students to get knowledge about 3D Scanner and actual application in industry. The training is designed to motivate the student of all ability levels to participate in real‐world scenarios utilizing engineering and robotic concepts to problem solve through hand on activities. It deals with the manufacturing, operations, applications and fundamentals of robots. Also, with the computer software and languages used to control their mechanism. Robotics Engineering is one of the most recognized, technologically advanced career option available for the students.ARVR stands for Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. AR is a technology that overlays digital information onto the real world, enhancing our perception of it. Virtual Reality, on the other hand, creates an entirely immersive experience by simulating a new world or environment. AR and VR are two different technologies, but they share some similarities and are often used together in various applications.Benefits of Virtual Reality in Education is Increase knowledge area, Active experience rather than just passive information, Helps to understand complex concepts, subjects, or theories, Boosts students creativity, Increase Interest in boring subjects like science, Improve the understanding level of students, Improve teaching skills in teachers using VR by providing a deep level of knowledge, Improve a Student’s Imagination power.The goal of this training is to teach Futuristics Technologies could be beneficial in the real world applications and to fill the gap between industry and academia.
