The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized an event of a standard writing competition in collaboration with BIS (Bureau of Indian Standard) for Mechanical and Civil Engineering students at Darshan University Campus on 14 July 2023. The competition aims to increase awareness and understanding of standards among the participants.  To encourage active participation, a standard writing competition was organized in three sessions. Students were invited to create their standards on a specific topic. It encourages them to research and write on specific standard-related topics. The competition was conducted in groups, and at the end of the evolution, a prize was awarded to the winners.
